A Neighbourhood Action Plan is a written document that identifies a long-term vision for the future of a neighbourhood, with achievable actions to make that vision a reality. Residents define their neighbourhood boundaries and identify the priorities that represent the many diverse voices of their community.
Congratulations to Victoria Park Neighbourhood Association for being the first neighbourhood to complete a Neighbourhood Action Plan. We are working with several other neighbourhoods who are developing a plan as well.
Who can create a Neighbourhood Action Plan?
You can!
Anyone, in collaboration with their neighbours, can create a Neighbourhood Action Plan. Residents don't need to belong to an existing group, live within specific geographical boundaries or have expertise in neighbourhood planning. Our team is available to support your effort and help turn plans into action.
